In a remarkable collaboration, the Vancouver Japanese Gardeners Association brought to life a vision designed by Mr. Shimpei Okada, who was serving as President of the Association at the time. The design seamlessly unites the park’s coastal theme with dramatic rockwork, a flowing dry stream, and thoughtfully composed plantings. Together, these elements create a place of calm and reflection while guiding passenger movement and providing intuitive access between the terminal and SkyTrain arrivals.
